These socks are inspired by the fall colors of leaves in a late British autumn. They are knitted from the top down with a two-color ribbed cuff, and the simple print motifs and acorn outlines are worked against a variegated background. The heel is a traditional heel flap and gusset but knitted in a tailored pin-stripe

with a matching pin-stripe mitten-top toe.

Available Sizes
Adult small (medium, large). Shown here in size medium.
Measurements
Approximately 8 (9.5, 11)" [20.5 (24, 28) cm] in circumference. Stretches to fit up to leg circumference approx: 9 (10.5, 12)" [23, (26.5, 30.5) cm].

Gauge
30 sts and 40 rows = 4" (10 cm) in Leaf Motif pattern, worked in the round, post-blocking.

Yarns
Knit Picks Stroll Tonal (75% Super-wash Merino wool, 25% nylon; 462 yds [422 m]/3.5 oz [100g]; CYCA 2): 24192 Kindling (A), 24193 Foliage (B), 1 skein each.

Needles
Size US 1 (2.25 mm), set of 5 dpn or circular for magic loop or 2-at-a-time. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
