Ondine armwarmers are knitted from the cuff up with simple rib and increases that taper to a narrow wrist, then in stocking stitch with regular increases on the inside of the arm. The upper cuff is knitted in rib but it is recommended that at thist point some fine knitting elastic is knitted together with the ribbing in order to give it extra hold to the upper arm.

Originally in the magazine The Inside Loop, Summer 2008 which has been discontinued. Now available here

The yarn is SWTC Karaoke, an interesting mix of soft wool and soy silk knitted on slightly larger needles giving a wonderful draping quality.
