Mabon is the late harvest and Autumn Equinox, which is around the time that the oak produces acorns in Northern Europe. The oak tree is a sacred tree in many traditions and is a symbol of strength and wisdom.

Gauge
19 sts x 24 rows over 10cm in stocking stitch stranded motifs.

Texere Yarns Airedale Aran
100% Blue Faced Leicester Wool, 82m/50g
1 (1, 1, 2) 50g balls 1208 Cranberry (Red) MC
1 x 50g ball 1213 Cream CC

Needles
4.5 mm dpns or circular needles
(or size to achieve gauge).
You may also need needles slightly larger than
this. (See Pattern Notes).

1 tapestry needle for weaving in ends
