Erssie Major is available to design knitting and crochet projects and write professional patterns for publication in either standard UK or US style. Initially she can provide a collection of ideas, sketches and swatches on any theme for perusal, selection and inclusion in books and magazines. All ideas and designs are completely original and can be kept totally confidential at the client's request until publication or release.

Erssie is also available for individual commissions or custom knits. Contact her to book a job or obtain a quote.

All jobs need to be agreed and booked in advance and will proceed only with written confirmation and a purchase order from the client who must specifically describe their needs and agree on costs and materials.

Currently Erssie Major undertakes all pattern writing, designing and most of the knitting of samples. Occasionally she employs knitters to carry out sample knitting, but only if it is of the same standards she is used to submitting on her own projects. She uses professional technical editors to ensure accuracy and consistency of patterns for publication unless editing is normally carried out by the publishers.
